Decodon verticillatus
Notes pertaining to photographs of Aug. 1, 2008
This site was examined during the Nova Scotia Wild Flora Society's 2008 Coastal Plain excursion.
Flowers occur in the axils of leaves. The fourth photo was taken looking down on a part of the stem that was arching downward, so it is upside-down in regard to the light, but is correct in illustrating flowers
above the leaves developmentally.
